Shiitake
Organic Shiitake Mushroom Extract For Canines & Felines
Shiitake (Lentinula edodes), native to East Asia, dates back as early as 1209, during the Song Dynasty in China. This powerful fungus provides antioxidants and high amounts of vitamins B and D. There is considerable evidence suggesting potential increases in energy, cognitive function, and cardiovascular health.
Why we love Shiitake
Organic Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) Mushroom Fruiting Body Extract and nothing else.
Our Shiitake extract comes from Japan. These mushrooms are specifically grown on certified organic beech logs promoting development of active compounds.
All of our mushrooms are cultivated on wood, allowing them to grow naturally in their optimal environment. We use only 100% organic fruiting body mushrooms in our supplements, with absolutely no grain additives or fillers.
For optimum results, incorporate one serving into your animal's daily meal or food. For animals weighing 150 pounds or less, administer 1/2 teaspoon (1g) per day. For animals weighing over 150 pounds, administer 1 teaspoon (2g) per day.
Our Shiitake extract is available in two packaging options: a compostable pouch, which doubles as a refill, and a reusable jar.
The jar is crafted from thick European-made glass, specifically engineered in a lab for increased durability and freshness preservation compared to standard glass.
Our compostable pouch is 100% compostable, with each part individually certified for compostability. Manufactured in the USA, these pouches are vegan, non-GMO, and free from PLA. They are void of harmful chemicals like bisphenol (including BPA and more than a dozen derivatives), PFAS, or phthalates.
